ARC Babysitting Certification

To provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants develop leadership skills, develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe, help children behave, and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-17 years old. 

 *Babysitting participants book is provided at the start of class.

Please bring a bag lunch; we have a microwave and refrigerator.

 

Cancelation Policy

A student can cancel class enrollment 15 days before the start of the class without penalty; if a cancellation occurs after this, the following amounts are deducted from the original payment:
10% from 8 to 14 days before class starts;
25% from 3 to 7 days before class starts;
50% from 1 to 2 days before class starts;
100% from 0 to 0 days before class starts or 1 day after class starts

Don’t Be Fooled by Online-Only CPR, First Aid, BLS, ACLS, or PALS Certification Scams.

There are numerous websites and organizations that offer “instant” CPR or First Aid certifications without students performing hands-on skills with an authorized instructor or approved VAM. Currently, the AHA, ARC, and ASHI do not endorse such curriculums.  

The American Heart Association (AHA), The American Red Cross (ARC), and The American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) strongly promote knowledge & proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.  Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA, ARC, ASHI or any other organization.  Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA, ASHI, ARC, and other course material, do not represent income to the AHA, ARC, ASHI, etc.
