Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

Course Format: BLENDED - Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner online, followed by a hands-on skills session. The hands-on skills session is completed in person with an American Red Cross authorized Instructor. Original or renewal students can take the course in a blended format. This is NOT an online course and does require an in-person skills/hands-on session.

General Course Information: The Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults and pediatric. The course is also designed to help non-medical professionals provide assistance in times of crisis and allow you to gain an understanding of first aid best practices for a wide range of conditions. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid valid for two years.

Students Receive: An ARC digital student Manual and an American Red Cross course completion card (valid for 2 years). 

Audience: Teachers, Coaches, Fitness pros, Daycare providers, Parents, Camp counselors, Construction, Daycare and Nursery Schools, and other caring citizens.

Don’t Be Fooled by Online-Only CPR, First Aid, BLS, ACLS, or PALS Certification Scams.

There are numerous websites and organizations that offer “instant” CPR or First Aid certifications without students performing hands-on skills with an authorized instructor or approved VAM. Currently, the AHA, ARC, and ASHI do not endorse such curriculums.  

The American Heart Association (AHA), The American Red Cross (ARC), and The American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) strongly promote knowledge & proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.  Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA, ARC, ASHI or any other organization.  Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA, ASHI, ARC, and other course material, do not represent income to the AHA, ARC, ASHI, etc.
