Course Format: BLENDED - Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner online, followed by a hands-on skills session. The hands-on skills session is completed in person with an American Red Cross authorized Instructor. Original or renewal students can take the course in a blended format. This is NOT an online course and does require an in-person skills/hands-on session. If you do not wish to take this blended option, you can register for the traditional classroom format under the course named Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) - CLASSROOM (If available).
General Course Information: This course is for Healthcare Professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Students Receive: An ARC digital BLS Provider Manual and an American Red Cross course completion card (valid for 2 years).
Audience: Individuals (in school or after school) such as EMTs, PAs, Nurses, Dentists, Physicians, Hematologists, Pharmacists, Lifeguards, Paramedics, PTs, OTs, and other allied healthcare providers are likely required to be certified in BLS.
